Josh is a designer by trade and a curious thinker by birth. From a family of engineers, he relishes turning the complex into simple. Josh focuses heavily on the customer experience in marketing and has been a part of multiple award-winning marketing projects over his career. He wears multiple hats, like most advertising veterans, including director, editor, strategist, consultant, researcher, designer and overall brand steward. These perspectives have allowed him to better his craft as a brand strategist. He enjoys above all else, getting to know new brands, how they work and the people who give them life.
Josh first explored his creative instincts at Louisiana State University, earning a fine arts degree in Graphic Design. What truly ignited his sense of creativity and essence of brands was his time spent working at Disney. He was later a founding partner of another agency in Baton Rouge, LA, and therefore, had his hands in every part of the creative process from ideation to execution. Throughout his career, Josh has helped develop strategy and original, memorable creative for brands large and small, such as Coca-Cola, Powerade, Drax, b1BANK, Louisiana Department of Health, Smoothie King and many more. He is a member of the American Advertising Federation - Baton Rouge, Baton Rouge Area Chamber, Forum 35 and the former President of the Capitol Park Museum Friends.
Josh has traveled to many wonderful places, gotten his hands dirty with real estate, built an agency from the ground up at a young age and now has the joy of being a kid again with his three sons. Through all of this, he has realized one thing — people are the most important part of what makes life happy, sad, silly or absurdly amazing. He has become more and more aware of the importance of relationships and community among people, consumers and colleagues.
JOSH IS: Most likely to make a dad joke.
