CHALLENGE
The origin story of Walk-On’s is a genuine American Dream. Their founder, Brandon Landry, made his way from the basketball bench to successful restauranteur, with several locations across Louisiana. But he and co-owner Drew Brees are always dreaming bigger. In 2011, they announced plans to expand the brand’s footprint nationally through franchising and needed a partner to position them from a local brand and appeal to a national player.
SOLUTION
To tell the true story, we had to immerse ourselves in the brand culture and understand the core of why Walk-On’s should be a national contender. We encapsulated the message through origin stories that embodied the spirit of Walk-On’s. We conceptualized campaigns that delivered mouthwatering visuals and were utilized in both mature and new markets. SASSO partnered with Walk-On’s to develop and execute an integrated multi-media strategy, becoming their brand steward and Agency of Record for all of their marketing efforts.
When Bernhard announced a partnership with Tulane University to help build a more energy-efficient campus, we needed to illustrate how the relationship works. This video will serve as an educational tool for the partnership with Tulane as well as evergreen content that can be used to form additional energy partnerships.
