CHALLENGE
As the largest cancer treatment provider in the Gulf South, Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center is helping patients through their journey. Their core message to their patients is that they are not alone. They want patients to feel empowered, assured and hopeful as they begin their journey with Mary Bird Perkins, and they needed to tell that story. They needed to define who they were at the core and what makes them leaders in cancer care.

SOLUTION
Together We Triumph. With a primary goal of brand awareness, SASSO developed a campaign concept that capitalizes on Mary Bird Perkins’ core brand themes through empowering storytelling. The relentless effort of patients and caregivers drove insights to ignite our creative. We executed a robust creative and media strategy that positioned Together We Triumph as the foundation of our campaign.

The core of Together We Triumph is the video produced to showcase a patient’s journey and the many interactions they have along the way. We followed patients as they worked with doctors, nurses and other hospital staff to highlight the idea of togetherness at every stage of the process.

Together We Are Mary Bird Perkins

We expanded our concept to have the best impact on the market, using the taglines Together We Discover, Together We Empower and Together We Care. We used striking photography to build static creative assets and connect the target audience to Mary Bird Perkins’ core brand elements.

Continuing the Story

We continued to tell the story through our photography building static creative assets to support the campaign, including print ads, social media posts, digital ad sets and billboards. The campaign design stays true to Mary Bird Perkins’ core brand elements, utilizing traditional brand colors and typefaces to support brand recognizability and awareness.

Our creative campaign was crafted to clearly translate and engage Mary Bird Perkins’ target audience across all available mediums, including TV, radio, social media, print, outdoor and digital ads.
