Orange Vanilla Coke and Orange Vanilla Coke Zero Sugar were the first Coca-Cola trademark flavor innovations in over a decade. So, Coca-Cola executives wanted to make a splash nationally with the roll out. SASSO developed specific creative and unique media placement to help ensure the new product’s exposure was big and bold.

As the longest presenting sponsor of the ESSENCE Festival, Coca-Cola has supported the event for nearly 25 years. This annual gathering, which attracts as many as a half a million people, is a celebration of culture, connection to community, and empowerment for African-American women. SASSO helped present the partnership between Coca-Cola and ESSENCE through unique placement of media leading up to and throughout the event in key markets like Atlanta, Birmingham, New Orleans, and others.
