SASSO Agency is looking to add an organized and detail-oriented Media Coordinator to our team. As a Media Coordinator, you will be counted on as an important contributor to the success of our agency, supporting our media department as well as working with all other agency departments. The Media Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the agency is meeting our clients’ media needs and working to fulfill all key functions of the media team. You will share the media team’s goal of ensuring we are delivering success for our clients.

You will be constantly solving problems, working with team members, and communicating with vendors/reps to drive projects to completion and accomplish goals. You will be expected to work collaboratively in a group setting as well as individually to hit deadlines and produce work that is on-point with our goals and objectives.

Attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written), and timeliness are extremely important to excel in this position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Background in advertising, marketing, and communications
  • Bachelor’s degree in mass communications, business administration, or marketing preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Commitment to working in a team-based environment
  • A keen attention to detail and budgetary restraints
  • Awareness of creative processes and techniques – including digital platforms
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and organizational skills
  • A proactive attitude, and a willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Time-management skills for logging hours for tasks
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Experience in media buying, researching, and planning software such as Strata, Nielsen, Arbitron, and others is a plus
  • The ability to work under pressure and tight timelines and assimilate large quantities of information quickly, while maintaining attention to detail, drive, and flexibility
  • Resilience, to enable you to deal with problems and constructive criticism
  • Technologically savvy and up to date in all of the latest trends in your area of expertise
  • Ability to travel, if/when necessary, as needed
  • Familiar with project management and office communication tools a plus (Workamajig, Dropbox, Google Docs, Slack, etc.)
